  Some companies offer a DIY solution where you enter your own text and pictures into a standard template. This limits the design which soon becomes recognisable and rarely harmonises with your content.



• "I tried to do one myself from a template, but after battling with it for over a week I'm no further forward."
  Most of them work on a "pay-as-you-go" basis, so you could be paying for a website that nobody can see. In the long run, a professional service is more cost-efficient.
